Mystique Casa Perla: Varadero
The Mystique Casa Perla is a small boutique spa hotel in the beach resort town of Varadero. It sits on Hicacos peninsula and is surrounded by some of the most incredible beaches you will encounter in your lifetime. Even those who return for countless visits still gasp when they catch that first glimpse of the ocean!
This small hotel is a former beachside mansion dating back to the 1940s, treating visiting guests to the most amazing views of the beach. Fringed by palm trees and with the ocean only a few metres away, the building is a throwback to a time when wealthy Cubans and Americans built grand beach houses here, and you will see why they chose this location!
Welcoming guests aged 16 years and over, the Casa Perla is the only upmarket beachside hotel in Cuba that offers dining on an al a carte basis, rather than an all-inclusive package which is so popular in Cuba. Here guests are served continental breakfast which is included in the overnight stay. Lunch, dinner and snacks are served with a daily menu, along with a drinks service. Meals are served in the restaurant or al fresco terrace and there is a food and drink service at the beach.
Hotel facilities include the Serenity Spa offering a sauna and range of treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, pedicures and more. There is also a gym and a small plunge pool with a sun terrace.
The Casa Perla is located in the downtown area of Varadero, a very long road with souvenir shops, handicraft markets and a few local bars and restaurants. Within Varadero, we have a few favourite restaurants that can easily be reached and are well worth a visit and we can certainly book a table for you.
The hotel has 10 rooms all furnished and styled to a very high level of comfort with either garden or ocean views. All the rooms offer well appointed private bathrooms with amenities, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, and for extra charges paid locally there is a stocked mini bar, WIFI and 24-hour room service.
The Deluxe Standard Rooms enjoy garden views and a choice of a king bed or two doubles and have large windows rather than a balcony. Deluxe Junior Suites offer a king-size bed and are larger, with a furnished balcony or terrace.
Premium Junior Suites offer various levels of ocean views, terraces and jacuzzi bath. The Premier Front Ocean View Junior Suite offers direct views of the beach.
