The owners are fiercely proud of having top quality memory-foam mattresses imported from the USA, and Senor Buri and his wife Nesti will make you feel like family, and nothing is too much trouble for them, even though their grasp of English is limited. Its very easy to get along and converse as they are adept at the latest translation software and can call in assistance from neighbours for longer discussions, thus adding to the charm and lasting memories of the stay.
The Casa is located in one of the original houses in Trinidad and you can almost taste the history of the city through the paintings and artefacts that adorn the rooms. The entrance living room has a very historic, colonial feel, with antique furniture, old paintings and lots and lots of trinkets!
The peaceful inner courtyard and bar area where meals can be served amongst the tropical ferns and the large roof terrace has seating to allow for guests to catch the sun or relax with a book and cocktail. For the health conscious the home made smoothies here a a delight.,
There are 4 rooms at this casa, each with private bathroom and air-conditioning and those famous mattresses and they are all traditionally decorated and comfortable.
Breakfast usually includes freshly made fruit drinks / smoothies, warm breads, and a choice of eggs. There is a bar downstairs where fresh cocktails are served and there is a multitude of amazing restaurants, bars and music venues right on your door-step.
