Guided City Tours In Havana

Our comprehensive choice of immersive private tours of Havana introduces the main sights and sounds of one of the world’s most unique cities and its UNESCO  World Heritage neighbourhoods. Our team of local guides have such a passion for their city and can guide you through the narrow bustling streets of Old Havana or the tree lined boulevards of the elegant Miramar district with enthusiasm and great knowledge. We make sure that each tour also provides a first hand insight into the routines and challenges of everyday Cuba life for the local Habaneros!

You can discuss with our team what your interests are and we can create a bespoke tour for you with interest areas being colonial or revolutionary history, architecture, dance, sport, art, music and more. For those interested to learn more about the Cuba of today by looking at the emerging private enterprises and also visiting local initiatives involved in many projects such as organic allotments, recycling and more.

We can tailor the visits to your own preference and interests and there are many museums to choose from . Suggestions to include the Havana Club Rum Museum focusing on the history of rum production in Cuba, with the chance for some rum sampling (best left for the afternoon! ). The City Museum introduces the visitor to a Havana through the centuries, located in a beautiful mansion, overlooking picturesque Plaza De Armas.

The National Museum of Fine Art showcases the largest collection of art in the Caribbean including sculptures, paintings and  photographs covering the colonial period up to the present day. Also the Museum Comandancia Del Che is part of the impressive  Morro Fortress and is the former office of Che Guevara and strangely the largest collection of Napoleon related artefacts in the world is found in the Napoleon Museum in Havana of all places and there is a story behind this!

Head away from the bustling streets of  Old Havana and perhaps visit places such as Regla, located across the harbour and reached by a local ferry crossing , this neighbourhood was very supportive of the Revolution and is also known for its links to the Afro Cuban Santeria religion. Or Jaimanitas where for over 25 years a local artist named Jose Fuster, inspired by Gaudi created an art neighbourhood where over 80 houses and gardens were designed with colourful mosaics and art work to become Fusterlandia.

You can also learn about the fascinating food scene in Havana and how creative the locals are with sourcing ingredients from the countryside and also online traders selling ingredients from the USA and other neighbouring countries. Chat over traditional Cuban meal  or tapas in one of our handpicked local privately run  restaurants. .
