Trapp Family Lodge Hotel
The Trapp Family Lodge Hotel is the nearest hotel to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and is surrounded by a paradise of flora and fauna.
The thirty spacious en-suite rooms each have two queen beds and Venetian windows with views of the garden and surrounding forest.
This is the ideal base from which to explore the Cloud Forest either on your own or as part of a small guided group. If you’re interested in birdwatching then we highly recommend you do this with a naturalist and you may be lucky enough to spot the elusive Resplendent Quetzal.
In the evening you can relax in the lounge bar and have dinner in the wood-panelled restaurant, that serves international cuisine and local dishes.
