Danta Corcovado Lodge
A true gem hidden away on the Osa Peninsula, the Danta Corcovado Lodge is a lovely place surrounded by tropical rainforest and perfect for those seeking solitude. Here you can experience Corcovado National Park’s biodiversity up close and it is the perfect spot for birdwatchers with over 200 different species having been spotted from the lodge.
Here you’ll find three types of accommodation. The house is perfect for families as it has two separate rooms. Standard rooms are simple yet delightful with polished teak floors and quirky interiors. Finally, the detached safari-style bungalows have a veranda and are great if you want more privacy. All rooms have en-suite facilities and ceiling fans. Please note there is no A/C or television, and Wi-Fi is limited.
The open-air dining room overlooks a small creek and you can try authentic Costa Rican meals prepared for you using local produce.
Whilst staying here in Corcovado you can take guided night walks, kayaking trips, a chocolate tour and of course the unmissable nature and birdwatching trips.
