Head out with our experienced rangers to see Leopard...arguably the most elusive of the Big 5, there's nowhere better to see Leopard than with our guides at one of Namibia's most successful cat conservation projects, Okonjima. Your visit contributes towards long term carnivore conservation projects across Namibia too.

With over 620 bird species native to Namibia, this is one of the best bird watching destinations in Africa. Easily one of the most fun couple of hours you'll spend in Namibia is kayaking with Cape fur seals in Walvis Bay. The enormous colony of Cape Fur seals at Pelican Point are curious, playful and completely charming, enjoying their interaction with your kayak just as much as you do.
The hot air balloon flight of a lifetime lies ahead for you in Namibia. There's simply nowhere else on earth that you can soar silently across the world's oldest desert. At Bullsport they breed some of the best quality warmblood horses in the country; beautiful, kind and calm they'll be right on your door step and keen to go out for a ride. Each day, experienced guides lead trails through the spectacular Naukluft mountain range and you'll be able to take it all in at a pace you feel comfortable with.
With the sun setting dramatically each night and long warm evenings, there's lots of reason to celebrate the end of the day in Namibia. A refreshing sundowner (a g&t perhaps ...) at the most impressive view point around, followed by lighting a fire - braai - and cooking Namibia's favourite dish (anything cooked on an open fire!) is an essential part of any day.
Immerse yourself in Namibia's inviting wilderness on our two night guided bush walks. There are several options, our favourite is exploring Damaraland's boulder strewn landscape by day and camping in what must be Namibia's most specacularly located safari tents at night. Listen for the call of hyaena across the valley as you take a quick bucket shower, and open your tent roof to sleep under the stars for truly memorable and wild nights.
Namibia is THE place to see cheetah. Not only does Namibia have the largest population of cheetah worldwide, but we'll arrange for you to join guided walks and drives to see free-roaming cheetah under the care of successful conservation organisation, Africat, who are working hard to protect a number of big cats in Namibia.
Huddled in the spaces between huge rounded granite boulders, this beautiful camp in Damaraland seems to disappear into its intimate setting. Relax in Camp Kipwe’s lounge with its breathtaking mountain views and cool off in the swimming pool after your guided walks or even an elephant nature drive. Each igloo shaped air-conditioned bungalow is filled with natural touches such as rocks embedded in the floor and animals carved into the wood reflecting the area’s famous engravings. It’s almost like being in a cosy cave! Bathrooms are partially open and a small shaded deck with chairs provides the perfect spot for looking out over the surrounding plains.
This small peaceful guesthouse lies in a quiet corner of Swakopmund’s old town close to the aquarium and old brewery. Cornerstone Guesthouse is friendly and homely with just seven rooms (two of which are family rooms) but has the style of a smart hotel. You can easily walk to the beaches, cafes, markets and restaurants so it makes a great base for exploring the town and the Skeleton coast. There is a large private garden to relax in and each ensuite room is light and spacious decorated in ‘beach’ colours with private entrances and patios.
Rooms have flat screen TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facility, safe and WiFi. For those of you with a car, then there is secure off-street parking.
30km from Sesriem and the entrance to the world-famous Namib Naukluft Park, the relaxed Desert Homestead Lodge is in a private nature reserve and is a perfect base for exploring the ancient dunes, hiking in the mountains, horse riding or taking a nature drive. The Lodge is completely powered by solar and at its heart is the farm-style Lodge house with its leather sofas and cow hide rugs. In this main building there is also a small library, bar and dining room with fire place. Soak up the views over the plains to the dunes and mountains from the veranda which wraps around it or enjoy a cooling off dip in the pretty pool. There are 20 cosy thatched chalets with old world style furnishings of cream linen and dark wood, good sized bathrooms and views over the mountains.
Situated on the banks of a vlei (dry lake) and surrounded by the beautiful red dunes of the Kalahari, the Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge has twelve thatched houses with private terraces, each named after the wildlife living on the reservation. They are all stilted and overlook the vlei, so you can watch giraffe, nyala, impala, zebra, springbuck and lots more without leaving your house. The exterior walls are made from canvas and are between 50-60 sq metres in size. They have lovely teak floors, bathrooms with natural stone tiles and hidden outdoor showers. Outside, a 120m long wooden bridge leads out to the restaurant, bar and reception area which also includes a sunken pool. It’s a perfect base for exploring the well-maintained walking trails which cross the never-ending chain of red dunes and the vast tree savanna.
Formerly a cattle farm, and now a nature reserve housing the Africat Foundation conservation project, the design of Okonjima Plains Camp honours the family’s cattle heritage with three-tier accommodation of 30 rooms. We tend to book the standard rooms which have a small veranda, two double beds, tea/coffee facility, fridge, roof fan, twin basins and large twin shower and private undercover parking. The Plains Camp Barn is the main sociable area with a dining and lounge area, WiFi, bar and swimming pool. All of these overlook the main attraction – a waterhole where you might see cheetah, brown hyena and leopards gathering.
This simple, rustic camp offers a pristine wilderness experience, where silence is maintained by the use of solar power and you have an overwhelming sense of being at one with nature. The bar at Etendeka Mountain Camp has an incredible view, the comfortable lounge is a sociable area with a long table where all meals are taken and the pool with its loungers is a lovely way to finish each day. Each of the ten spacious tents has either double or twin beds with luxury mattresses and crisp cotton linen. There’s an ensuite bathroom but also a fun eco friendly outdoor bucket shower with unlimited hot water to fill it up. There is WiFi in the restaurant where your fully inclusive two course dinner, continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are all served.

Your hair will stand on end as you listen to thrilling nocturnal barks and cries, and your heart will beat faster as your guide skillfully lights up the animals of the night: shy sable antelope, energetic spring hare, fox-like aardwolf hunting for insects...and more!
Learn to recognise spoor - footprints, scat - dung and other signs of animals such as bushes broken by elephant as our experienced guides safely walk with you through the Namibian bush. The thrill of spotting wildlife on foot will stay with you forever.
From the immensity of the seemingly endless star shaped dunes, to the captivating detail of the deep red sand lightening as the day's sun ignites the earth, this is an unforgettable experience.
If you love horses (like we do!), we know just where you should stay in Namibia.
The Lodge is completely powered by solar and at its heart is the farm-style Lodge house with its leather sofas and cow hide rugs.
