Perched on top perched on top of a cliff overlooking the harbour in the Southeast of Madeira, Estalagem da Ponta do Sol is built on different floors terraced by thick stone walks. A lift and covered bridges lead to different levels of the hotel, which intersect and join up at several points.

Also referred to as an oasis of calm in Madeira’s busy capital city Funchal. A charming, family run hotel providing a relaxing escape from the bustle of downtown Funchal, Quintinha sits within a lush, subtropical garden in the city’s residential area – a fifteen-minute walk brings you down into the heart of the city or you might prefer to take advantage of the hotel’s courtesy bus, (particularly for the uphill walk home, which can be tiring at the end of a busy day).
