We’re all lucky enough to visit the Azores islands each year. For our 2017 trip, Jake and I included a stay on Graciosa – a wonderfully peaceful island with quiet country lanes and friendly coastal villages.
It is home to one of the Azores’ most stunning volcanic caves, Furna do Enxofre. I’ve included some pics of our visit below, but they don’t quite do justice to just how vast a cavern this is – you’ve got to see it with your own eyes.
It’s pretty easy to fly into Graciosa’s neighbour Terceira, so combining the two islands works really well.
