Guided photography in the Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands are a paradise for photographers, and there is no better way to make the most of the scenery (and sometimes dramatic weather) than to spend the day with a local guide and professional photographer. Our guide knows these islands inside out and can take you to iconic landscapes, and hidden gems that only the locals know about. They will keep an eye on the weather conditions across the archipelago to ensure that you get that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
Stunning scenery

Sometimes it feels like you can’t go five minutes without stopping to take in breath-taking scenery. Your expert guide will be able to take you to the right location at the right time so that you can make the most of the light and the weather to capture unforgettable moments on film. And remember, your holiday is fully customisable to we can include sites and scenes that you want to visit, and as many guided days as you require.
Abundant wildlife

As well as the dramatic scenery there is also a wide variety of birdlife including puffins, Arctic skuas, and oystercatchers (the national bird of the Faroe Islands). Other wildlife you’ll see are sheep – there’s more sheep (c.70,000) than people (c.55,000) – and the much rarer Faroese pony (c.100 worldwide).
Historic buildings

Scattered throughout the Faroe Islands you’ll find grass-roofed buildings, some dating back hundreds of years. Your local guide will not only be able to show you these picturesque homes and churches but will tell you their rich history.
