Driver-guided Tours in the Faroe Islands
A driver-guided tour is one of the best ways to experience the Faroe Islands. Choose from private trips tailored to you or join a small group for a more social journey. Tours cover the whole archipelago, so wherever you wish to explore, there’s an option to match. Because we work with a small, family-run team, group departures operate on set days, so we recommend booking early.
Here are some of our favourite tours:
Sagas of Sandoy
Uncover hidden treasures, modern cave paintings, and stories of influential men and women connecting Kirkjubøur and Sandoy. This tour combines geological wonders, archaeological sites, white sandy beaches with rolling dunes, and dramatic cliffs alive with nesting seabirds.

Vágar Island & The Slave Cliff
Experience iconic sights including Trælanípan (the Slave Cliff), Sørvágsvatn (the Lake Above the Ocean), and the postcard-perfect village of Gásadalur. Rich with history and folklore, Vágar also offers some of the islands’ most celebrated waterfalls and viewpoints—all in a single unforgettable day.

The Famous Kallur Lighthouse
Kalsoy rose to global fame as a filming location for the James Bond film No Time to Die, but its allure long predates the silver screen. The island is home to two of the Faroes’ most legendary landmarks: the Kallur Lighthouse and the Seal Woman statue.
At the island’s northern tip, the lighthouse towers above sheer cliffs and rugged terrain, offering breathtaking views. On clear days, you can spot the Giant and the Witch—rock formations said to be trolls frozen mid-escape after trying to drag the Faroes toward Iceland. From the opposite side, gaze across to Cape Enniberg, the northernmost point of the archipelago and one of the tallest sea cliffs in the world at 758 meters.
In Mikladalur village, you’ll meet the Seal Woman (Kópakonan), whose haunting legend makes her one of the most enduring figures in Faroese folklore.
