Hotel Hafnia
The sister hotel to Hotel Brandan, Hotel Hafnia is a boutique style hotel in the centre of Tórshavn. Originally opened in 1951, the hotel was owned by a series of local families before it was taken over in 2018 by Smyril Line (who operate the ferry that runs from Denmark to Iceland via the Faroe Islands).
Hotel Hafnia has two options for food on site (Bistro 1.Hædd and Café Kaspar), and next door is their restaurant Katrina Christiansen – possibly our favourite restaurant in the archipelago.
The hotel is well situated for the harbour for trips to Nólsoy and Suðuroy, as well as for the many restaurants and shops in Tórshavn.
