Hotel Brandan
The Hotel Brandan is a large turf-roofed hotel close to the main square of Torshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. From the hotel, you can easily walk into town to enjoy the highlights, from great restaurants and craft beer houses, to the national gallery and the parliament buildings of Tinganes.
The Hotel Brandan opened in July 2020 and is a green key certified hotel with sustainability at its core. It has a well regarded restaurant, Húsagarður, with 3 or 5 course menus, as well as an à la carte menu. There is a wine cellar that can house up to 3000 bottles and wine-tasting sessions are available for groups of five or more.
The hotel has a modern, chic interior with all of the comforts required to ensure a great stay, from fantastic food to hot tubs and saunas, and a Scandinavian-style fitness room. For those arriving by car, there is ample free parking.
