Hotel Brandan
The sister hotel to Hotel Hafnia, Hotel Brandan opened in July 2020. The Brandan was designed specifically to be a Green Key certified hotel with sustainability at its core (an experience that has led its owners Smyril Line to incorporate this philosophy into their core business of cargo and passenger shipping in the North Atlantic).
Hotel Brandan has a well regarded restaurant, Húsagarður, with 3- or 5-course menu as well as an à la carte menu. There is also a wine cellar, Gilið, that can house up to 3000 bottles – wine tastings sessions are available for groups of five or more.
