Club Santana Sao Tome
Club Santana is a beautiful beach resort on the island of Sao Tome. Set in tropical gardens next to a sandy beach, it’s a great spot for those who like to be active. There are 31 individual bungalows and guests have free use of the resorts kayaks, paddleboards and baby catamaran. There’s a spacious pool overlooking the private sandy beach, and a pool-side restaurant. .
Snorkelling trips to Santana islet, about 10 minutes away by boat, are complimentary for guests. You can also book a range of Scuba Diving courses at the onsite Atlantic Dive Centre, from beginner ‘baptism’ dives, through to Advanced PADI . It’s also a great spot for families, with plenty of on-site activities to keep the kids entertained, and fun beach BBQ’s. For those keen to explore the city, Club Santana runs a free shuttle bus into São Tomé city three times a day.
The restaurant serves Santomean food with a French twist, with a mixture of à la carte dining, buffets and beach BBQs. The rooms are European in style and have all the modern comforts you’ll need: air-conditioning, fridge, tv and modern, en-suite bathrooms. The best bungalows for couples are those with a sea view, and for families, there are larger two-bedroom bungalows set slightly back.
