Club Santana Sao Tome
Set in tropical gardens, Club Santana Sao Tome has beautiful panoramic views over the ocean.
Located 30 minutes’ drive south of Sao Tome city, the hotel is made up of 31 individual bungalows, and is the ideal place to relax after a long flight and settle into life on the island.
Club Santana’s rooms are European in style and have all the modern comforts you’ll need: air-conditioning, fridge, tv and modern, en-suite bathrooms. The best bungalows for couples are those with a sea view, and for families, there are larger two-bedroom bungalows set slightly back.
The infinity pool, private sandy beach and pool-side restaurant are accessed via several flights of steps, and there are kayaks, paddleboards and baby catamaran free for guests to use. Deep sea snorkelling trips to Santana islet (about 10 minutes away by boat) are complimentary for guests, and baptism through to Advanced PADI courses can be arranged through the Atlantic Dive Centre onsite. For those keen to explore the city, Club Santana runs a free shuttle bus into São Tomé city three times a day.
The restaurant serves Santomean food with a French twist, with a mixture of à la carte dining on some nights, buffets and beach BBQs.
