The striking façade of the Torel is an impressive reminder of its 19th-century origins; a luxurious urban palace, constructed in the centre of Portugal’s oldest city. Renovated and repurposed as a four-star hotel in 2015, the Royal Court’s eighteen rooms offer a flavour of a more ostentatious era.
