Hotel Mundial
Nestled between the Praca Cattaneo Patrizio and Praca da Figueira, the Mundial is an excellent base from which to explore the city on foot and by tram. The hotel has over three hundred rooms – the décor is contemporary, with large, double-glazed windows maximising the natural light and ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast and dinner are served in the first floor Restaurante Jardim Mundial, and the a la carte menu at sister-restaurant Varanda de Lisboa is excellent. Heading upwards, the Hotel Mundial Rooftop Bar is popular with guests and Lisboans alike for its sweeping night time panoramic view of the city.
