Ongava Tented Camp
Located on the Ongava Private Game Reserve and right outside one of the entrance gates into Etosha, this 9 tented classic safari style lodge has an intimate bush camp atmosphere. Ongava Tented Camp‘s main restaurant and bar area are built of stone, canvas and thatch and from here and the swimming pool, you can look out over the waterhole which is floodlit at night. Black and white rhino are common visitors to the camp as are lions and the occasional leopard. Each of the luxurious classic East African-style canvas tents has double doors so you can look out over the bush and the waterhole. They are very tastefully furnished and have a covered veranda, safe, ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facility and ensuite bathroom with private indoor and outdoor showers and double basins. There is one family room which comprises two tents with their own bathroom and entrance linked by a short, curved walkway.
