Okonjima Bush Camp
Okonjima Bush Camp is located within the Okonjima Nature Reserve. Halfway between Windhoek and Etosha National Park, this is a great place to stay if you want to see Leopard. There are about 35 Leopards within the reserve and about half of them are tagged, so that the rangers can monitor their movements. There is an exciting range of activities to enjoy in the extensive grounds, from Leopard tracking, to game drives, and guided safari walks.
The Luxury Bush Camp is made up of eight elegant, private thatched chalets, each chalet enjoying large glass panels and canvas windows that can be opened completely for uninterrupted views of the African bush. As well as a bedroom, with two queen-sized beds, and en-suite bathroom, the chalets have a spacious lounge area with mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and wifi. The chalets share a secluded swimming pool; and the restaurant, dining area and lounge (with inside and outside fireplaces) all overlook the waterhole.
