Zona Velha Villa
The villa is located in the popular Old Town district of Funchal – known locally as the Zona Velha – within easy walking distance of Madeira’s best restaurants, café bars and historic landmarks. The heart of the villa is it’s sociable, open-plan ground floor living space which has a large lounge area, family dining table and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. Exits on both sides lead you out onto the first of two south-facing terraces, with a private pool, BBQ and al-fresco dining area. There are three ensuite bedrooms on the first floor, all opening onto a second sun terrace. The master and second bedrooms both have king-sized double beds, and bedroom number three is a twin. The sun terrace overlooks the terracotta rooftops of the Old Town, across the marina and out to sea – it’s a perfect suntrap in the summer and an even better private viewpoint for Funchal’s famous New Year’s firework display.
