Bel Air Luxury Madeira Villa
The villa in the Santo Antonio district of the capital, on the southern-slopes of Pico dos Barcelos with a wonderful panoramic of the city to the east, and the famous Cabo Girão cliffs to the west. It has a large private garden, an outdoor pool, outdoor dining facilities and a south-facing first-floor terrace – to make the most of Madeira’s dazzling sunsets.
It’s a split-level madeira villa – on the ground floor, there’s an open-plan lounge and dining room opens onto the front terrace and garden, and the first of four bedrooms. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast room which also leads to the garden, the outdoor dining area and swimming pool. There’s a second en-suite double bedroom on the first floor, with a small lounge opening onto the sun terrace. Half-a-floor above are the third and fourth bedrooms – one twin and one double; they share a bathroom, but each room has a private balcony.
We’ll normally recommend including a car during your stay, to allow you to explore the island at your leisure. There’s a large supermarket just five-minute’s drive away, and it’s a fifteen-minute drive into the centre of Funchal.
