Rio Celeste Hideaway
Located next to the Volcan Tenorio National Park and the astonishingly blue Rio Celeste river, the Rio Celeste Hideaway has trails leading through it’s own private rainforest down to the Rio Celeste itself. The entrance, with steps up to the reception area, is built in a distinctively Balinese style and furnished with furniture and woodwork from Indonesia.
This exclusive retreat has twenty-six spacious and tastefully furnished casitas. All have glass doors that open onto a large covered veranda overlooking either the lush gardens or the jungle. The polished wooden floors give the room a warm and cosy feeling, with a large four-poster bed placed in the middle of the room. On the other side is a bathroom with two basins and indoor and outdoor showers. There is a space to make tea and coffee, a minibar and safe.
During the day the Luna Azul bar by the pool is great for drinks, light lunches and snacks. In the evening try a tropical cocktail first in the Cantina Delirio a stylish lounge bar, before you dine in the open-air Kantala restaurant alongside ponds with colourful Koi. Try typically Costa Rican cuisine prepared with fresh locally sourced produce.
