Hotel Belmar
The luxurious Hotel Belmar is nestled in the hills of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The Belmar offers a unique stay in a world-renowned reserve, and all of the twenty-two rooms have incredible panoramic views of the surrounding forest.
The hotel offers a range of seven different room types varying from the Canopy room with floor to ceiling windows and the Forest superior room which has a glass-enclosed jacuzzi, to the mind-blowing Sunset room with its grand terrace and outdoor whirlpool jacuzzi.
You can dine outside on the balconies of the Celajes restaurant, where farm-to-table Costa Rican dishes are served and you can sip a beer from the hotel’s own microbrewery.
The air is pretty cool up here in the mountains and the rooms have ceiling fans rather than A/C. There aren’t televisions in the rooms, to help foster the sense of rainforest retreat.
Take guided walks led by naturalist guides through the nearby primary forest and relax with complimentary yoga classes.
