Jack and I are now back at our screens, slightly bleary-eyed, after an amazing week. This is just a short note to thank you for organising such a brilliant itinerary for us.
On Sal, the use of Hotel Morabeza and Hotel Gaudi in which to leave our luggage during the two travelling days was particularly welcome and left us free to explore rather than just feeling in transit.
Arriving onto Sao Vicente so late at night after around 17 hours travelling was more than compensated for by the fabulous Kira’s Hotel and a warm welcome from Isabel. What a lovely hotel that is 🙂

But the highlight of the trip by some margin was Santo Antao which absolutely blew us away and gave us the most challenging, rewarding and spectacular hiking we’ve ever experienced. We had no idea we were in for such beauty, and they tell us December is the best time to see it when it’s covered in wild flowers – considering how lovely it is now, that must really be something to see.
Our final night in Hotel Morabeza was the perfect opportunity to chill and relax after a hard week’s hiking and made the return journey so much easier.
All our guides were superb; all our transfers came together; the weather was hot and clear and all our travel ran to schedule. In other words, we could not have asked for better and we look forward to promoting travel to Cape Verde with Archipelago Choice as widely as we can.
