VOI Praia de Chaves Resort Boavista
The VOI Praia de Chaves Resort is an all-inclusive resort hotel which overlooks the seemingly endless stretch of white-sand beach of Chaves, considered by some to be the finest beach in the whole of Cape Verde.
The well-equipped rooms are of a good size and standard and each has a terrace. They all feature air-conditioning, TV, minibar, hairdryer and room safe (extra charge). Guests can choose from different upgrades, such as rooms with a sea view, larger superior rooms, and suites. In total, there are two hundred and seventy six rooms which are spread across seventeen separate buildings on a small hill. The grounds are vast and include well-kept gardens.
The hotel’s main Belvedere restaurant serves international cuisine of many varieties in a buffet-style, while the Sodade is a reservation-only a la carte (extra charges apply.) There is a pool bar, beach bar and a theatre bar.
Outdoors, there is a beautiful pool area with a children’s pool and ample space for sunbathing. Two children’s clubs provide entertainment and activities: one for the 4-7 age group, one for 8-12 years. For adults there is a spa with sauna and jacuzzi, offering massage and beauty treatments (extra cost). Active guests can use the fitness room or take part in many sports including bowls, beach volleyball, darts, aqua-gym plus a variety of water sports.
