RM Green Hotel
The RM Green Hotel on Santo Antão is in a breath-taking location, next to a village called Lomba Branco. Perched high on a hill, the hotel offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the ocean.
Guests can enjoy one of the 17 cosy wooden pods, each with its own private terrace overlooking the ocean. The pods are connected by a meandering stone paths and are well spaced out. Each has an uninterrupted view of the sea and a little patio to sit and relax. Though the pods are compact, they are lovely inside and have wifi and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. You can choose between the standard double pods, pods for three (with a sofa bed), or more luxurious bungalows that are more spacious and have air conditioning.
Unwind at the end of the day on a comfy lounger on the terrace by the infinity pool, with fantastic ocean views. With the restaurant and bar just a few steps away, you can enjoy a refreshing drink by the pool. There are also sofas in the shade of the building, for those really warm days.
Breakfast is included and is served in the main building by the pool, making mornings as scenic as they are delicious. It’s not possible to pre-book meals, you simply order at the restaurant on the day. You can sit inside, or on the shaded outside terrace that faces towards to ocean.
It’s worth noting that the hill-top location of the hotel means that it’s not ideal for those with mobility issues and children under 12 cannot stay here, because the pods are perched on a steep-sided hill that juts out to sea.
