Orquidea Guesthouse
Close to the stunning white sands and turquoise seas of Sal Rei’s beach, and near Sal Rei’s main town square, the Orquidea Guesthouse is in a perfect location. The guesthouse grounds have lush gardens, rich with colourful hibiscus and green palm trees make for a relaxing atmosphere. Friendly resident parrots reside in the courtyard, adding a bit of chatter to your day!
Each of the ten rooms is tasteful, brightly and simply decorated and has its own bathroom with hot water. All have balconies or patios, with upstairs rooms enjoying a sea view. Additional in-room facilities include air conditioning or fan, fridge, flat-screen TV, minibar and safe. A small gym is at your disposal and a laundry service and use of internet are also available, at an extra charge.
The guesthouse’s courtyard is the shady venue for the buffet breakfast. Whether you head for the town or onto the beach, you will find a range of restaurants for your lunch or dinner. Needless to say, fish and seafood are specialities on Boavista.
The adjacent beach is the home for a choice of water sports centres, with diving, windsurfing and snorkelling among the options. The guesthouse owners are friendly Cape Verdeans who are helpful and knowledgeable and will assist in arranging any excursions which take your fancy.
