Hotel Coracao
A warm welcome awaits you as soon as you enter Hotel Coracao in the seaside town of Ponta do Sol in Santo Antão. The friendly Belgian owners Wim and Hilde and their staff will make your stay as comfortable as possible and can offer advice on walks and activities in the area.
The hotel is just off the main road and within walking distance from the harbour where you can see the local fishermen return with their daily catch. It has ten spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a balcony. The pool is very inviting, especially after a long day’s walk or you can have a lovely relaxing massage with essential coconut and eucalyptus oils. On the ground floor is an honesty bar and a recreation room with books, games and free Wi-Fi access.
The roof terrace has panoramic views of the Atlantic and breakfast can be taken either inside or outside. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner, but there is a restaurant nearby or you can walk to the harbour front where you’ll find a few small restaurants.
