The hotel interior has a nautical tone, with a white-washed minimalist design that complements the relaxed atmosphere of the village. From your room, you can often hear the sound of the ocean. Rather than relying on air conditioning, the rooms benefit from an effective natural ventilation system that keeps them comfortable throughout the year. Televisions have also been intentionally omitted, encouraging guests to disconnect from screens and make the most of their surroundings. Aquiles Eco Hotel earns its eco credentials through its innovative and sustainable construction. Built around a concrete framework, the property incorporates a series of wooden cabin-style rooms made from renewable materials. Designed as a prototype eco-building, each cabin can be individually removed and relocated if required. Inside, the rooms are bright, welcoming and thoughtfully designed to reflect the simple, laid-back lifestyle of São Pedro. The hotel’s dining area follows the same natural aesthetic, featuring rustic wooden tables and chairs that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
