La Poza Boutique Hotel and Spa
The Posada de la Poza is just a few steps from Playa Todos Tantos, one of the many sandy beaches in the area. A lagoon separates the hotel from the sea, a mini oasis filled with resident coastal birds. It’s a really idyllic seaside location and just a 30 minute walk from the centre of Todos Santos.
There are 13 luxury suites, accommodating up to 30 guests. Each suite is in its own separate building within the grounds, and all are spacious with beautiful interiors and modern amenities. There are six eco domes, large canvas structures offering a high-end glamping retreat! Guests can enjoy a range of spa treatments, the sauna, and delicious meals served at the on-site restaurant.
Todos Santos is a small, charming fishing village, known for its many resident artists. Its a great place to buy locally made Mexican souvenirs. There is a small square with lots of small shops, and we recommend eating at the Oystera Restaurant if you like fresh seafood. If your here during late November to April, you can head whale watching.
The beaches along this coastline are a hot-spot for surfers, so they have a vibrant vibe but there are some strong undercurrents. If you fancy a swim, it’s best to head to Playa Los Cerritos, which is the safest spot. Nearby Tortugueros Las Playitas is another great beach to visit, a protected area known for turtle conservation. Hatchlings are released every evening through most of December, January, and February.
