The Santa Teresa Canyon Campsite sits on the bottom of the Santa Teresa Canyon right on the edge of a farm and is also the access point to the UNESCO protected cave paintings of La Pintada, Las Flechas and La Soledade.
The site is a basic wild camp and features a small construction with a roof where we install the kitchen and store our supplies. Fresh drinking water is available on site, and there are two toilets and one shower facility, although there may not always be hot water.
At night, whilst sitting by the bonfire, the local farmer and the mule driver will share some stories of their lives under a star-studded sky.
