Okaukuejo Rest Camp

The first tourist camp to be opened in Etosha, Okaukuejo Rest Camp is at the western end of the pan with its waterhole voted as one of the best around. Within the camp are several campsites each with central toilet/wash block as well as a small shop, post office and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s also a swimming pool and petrol station. But the highlight has to be the famous floodlit waterhole where animals arrive appearing oblivious to the bright lights and audience.
