Kulala Desert Lodge, surrouned by Kulala Wilderness Reserve, is found at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes. It’s the closest lodge to Sossusvlei and clients can access the dune area via a private gate – perfect for the early start you’ll make to see the dunes at sunrise.
The camp is made up of 23 thatched and canas ‘kulalas’ – kulala means sleep -, each built on a wooden platform with a flat roof so you can sleep out under the stars if you wish. Rooms are en-suite with showers. Guests can enjoy the refreshing swimming pool, and watching game visiting the lodge’s waterhole from the veranda. Wifi is available.
