The lodge at Doro Nawas has been built on a hilltop close to the dry Aba-Huab river, where desert adapted elephants roam, and is surrounded by the enormous rugged beauty of Damaraland and the Etendeka Mountains. The 16 thatched bungalows, including a family bungalow, are spacious and guests are encouraged to wheel their beds out onto the veranda and sleep under the stars. All bungalows have private bathrooms with inside and outside showers. Meals are served on the roof or in the restaurant, and guests can cool down in the outdoor pool.
