Desert Rhino Camp

Desert Rhino Camp is a unique lodge, lying in the million-acre Palmwag concession where the critically endangered desert-adapted black rhino roam under the protection of trackers. This is the main highlight of a stay at this luxurious lodge where you can go rhino tracking on foot and by vehicle with the help of the local Save the Rhino Trust guides. You can also go on general game drives, sundowner drives, birdwatching tours and general nature walks with experienced guides. The camp has eight Meru-style tent rooms and with a capacity of just 16 guests, there’s an intimate and friendly atmosphere. There’s a main area (also a tent) where you can lounge on the leather sofas looking out over the sweeping plain and at night a campfire great for chatting about your day. Each tent has an ensuite bathroom, mosquito net, fan, safe and tea and coffee making facilities.
