Damaraland Camp’s beautiful tents are located in the Torra Conservancy, a 352,000 square km area of land with healthy populations of the rare desert-adapted elephant and some black rhino as well as oryx, kudu, springbok, lion, cheetah, spotted and brown hyena, giraffe and more.
Each spacious tent is en-suite, with hot water showers heated by solar power. There’s a shared outdoor pool but no wifi so you have more time to enjoy the stunning surroundings. Meals are served outside during summer, or inside in the restaurant and lounge area, always with a view to the spectacular gravel plain and mountains.
Guests can enjoy guided nature walks, rock art excursions, visits to local farms and nature drives.
